IMG-P in Real Industrial Operation at Kıvanç Kağıt

Dunakontroll had the pleasure of visiting Kıvanç Kağıt in Adana, Türkiye, the site of one of our important Turkish reference installations.

At the facility of our valued partner, leading professionals from major Turkish paper producers had the opportunity to see the IMG-P – Industrial Moisture Gate for Wastepaper Bales operating under real industrial conditions.

We were also pleased to hold an excellent and highly constructive discussion with representatives of Modern Karton, Kipaş Kağıt, Barem, Moderna and Ankutsan.
Following the discussion, the participants visited the IMG-P installation at Kıvanç Kağıt and observed the system in operation.

The visit confirmed a clear common understanding: the standardisation of IMG-P in the Turkish paper industry is a reasonable and desirable step toward maintaining long-term sustainable market conditions, improving mill efficiency, and supporting a more transparent value chain through representative, sensor-based and automated moisture measurement.

For Dunakontroll, this type of professional dialogue and industry-level cooperation gives real meaning to many years of development work. Seeing IMG-P in real mill operation and discussing its role with leading industry professionals was an important and valuable occasion.
