Company Journey
Our story began with a bold idea: to revolutionize moisture analysis in the recycled paper industry. This vision led to the development of the HPNA system—short for Hulladék Papír Nedvességmérő Állomás (Recycled Paper Moisture Measurement Station).
After more than a decade of research and development by our dedicated team of scientists, engineers, and RF specialists, the first-generation HPNA system was successfully deployed at one of Central Europe’s largest paper mills.
Innovation has always driven our growth. In 2017 we introduced HPNA-2, with major hardware and software upgrades, including volumetric cargo measurement using LIDAR technology. Built on science and proven in the field, HPNA-2 paved the way for HPNA-3—an even more refined generation that prepared us for the next big step in 2022.
To reflect our expanding global presence, we rebranded HPNA to IMG – Industrial Moisture Gate. This shift highlights our broader mission and positions IMG as a future-ready solution for industrial moisture analysis.
We extended IMG’s capabilities beyond paper to wood logs with IMG-W and straw bales with IMG-S, unlocking new markets and proving the system’s adaptability. With every material we tackle, IMG continues to evolve—driving smarter logistics and supply chain digitization.
